PlsPlan is built for students, so privacy should be simple and transparent. We collect only what is necessary to turn messy schoolwork into a usable plan and keep it updated. We do not sell personal data, train public models on your personal content, or use your schoolwork for third-party advertising.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how PlsPlan (“PlsPlan”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles personal information when you use plsplan.com, the PlsPlan application, and related services (together, the “Service”). It should be read together with our Terms of Service.
2. Information we collect
Account and identity information
PlsPlan lets you start without complex sign-up friction. When you create an account or request early access, we store your contact information (such as email address) and account identifiers to provide and support the Service.
Your schoolwork and planning data
We store information you submit to PlsPlan so the planner can organise your commitments. This includes tasks, subjects, test and exam dates, assignments, estimated durations, and your schedule preferences.
Text and files you submit
When you paste homework messages or upload documents (such as photos, screenshots, worksheets, or PDFs), we process that material to extract structured schoolwork commitments. Source documents are stored securely and privately so PlsPlan can understand and update your plan.
Usage and technical information
We record limited technical diagnostics to ensure reliability and understand how features perform. These include sanitised event counts, device environment details, and error logs. Our telemetry is designed to never include raw homework content, files, or personal identifiers.
3. How we use information
We use information solely to:
- provide, operate, and maintain PlsPlan;
- extract structured commitments from schoolwork you submit;
- generate and dynamically update your study schedule;
- communicate with you about updates and early access;
- detect abuse, protect accounts, and maintain security; and
- debug and improve the reliability of the Service.
4. Automated processing
PlsPlan uses automated parsing and machine intelligence to convert messy school inputs into structured planning items. Automated extraction can occasionally be imperfect. You can review and edit any commitment, date, or detail at any time. PlsPlan always prioritises your confirmed corrections over automated estimates.
5. Service providers and data sharing
We work with trusted infrastructure providers (such as cloud hosting and secure storage) strictly to operate and secure PlsPlan.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your schoolwork for third-party behavioural advertising.
6. Security and retention
We implement standard security controls to protect your data. Data is retained only for as long as necessary to provide the Service, resolve issues, or meet legitimate legal requirements.
7. Your rights and choices
You have the right to access, update, or request deletion of your personal data at any time. To make a privacy request, email privacy@plsplan.com.
